- Memento (2000)
Leonard Shelby is well-dressed, drives a new “Jaguar”, but lives in cheap motels. His life goal is to find his wife’s murderer. His problem is the rare form of amnesia and short-term memory loss. Though he remembers everything before his wife’s death, he isn’t able to recollect what happened 15 minutes ago.

Art auctioneer Simon is responsible for the safety of paintings during auctions and in the case of danger, he needs to put them into a safe. During the robbery, he gets hit in the head and wakes up in the hospital with amnesia. Simon is the only person, who knows where the painting is, which is neither in the safe nor in the hands of robbers. The gangsters kidnap him and hire a hypnotist, who needs to help Simon to recollect the whereabouts of the work of art.
