I joined in on Tyson’s “Recommended By” blogathon and checked out Blue Ruin. Head on over to see what I had to say about it!
Zoë from The Sporadic Chronicles Of A Beginner Blogger is here today with her review of Blue Ruin for my ‘Recommended By’ blogathon. Read on for her great review, and of course check out her site if you don’t already.

Really enjoyed Blue Ruin. I did an interview with Macon Blair a while back if you care to read 😊

I see that I liked it when I came, so definitely not really an interview that stuck. I have it open here, just need a minute to read it again haha!

No I liked your questions, they were interesting. His answers were just really short, standard, nothing super special to them or anything like that!

It was probably copy and pasted from the million other email Q&A’s he’d done for other lowly little blogs! haha

Bwahahahaha! That’s one way to look at it! I suppose he isn’t really used to having people asking him questions and all that, seeing as this is his first actual project. I suppose he needs to develop a crowd personality 😉
I do enjoy the interviews you put out though 🙂 How do you manage to pull that together?

Thanks Zoe. I just had a spell of hassling people on Twitter really. Out of every 100 people asked maybe one person would agree! I would like to do some more, but I barely get time to do reviews now let alone interviews as well! I have one in the locker which I will post if I get time, which is an interesting one because it’s a tie in with a book and a movie as well AND the guy who wrote the book (and the subject of the Q&A) actually lives in the same road as my brother! Weird but true!

Family or work keeping you so busy? As much as it sucks to blog less, it’s always awesome to live life!
HA so you are a serial harasser! 😛
Oooooooh now that one sounds like a seriously interesting conundrum right there! Looking forward to it 🙂

I have two youngs kids, one being only eight months old so that limited my time a bit initially. Plus my work circumstance have changed which means I don’t have the luxury of using my work day to do it (apart from lunch break)! it’s all good though!
The hardest bit is actually keeping on top of reading and commenting on everyone elses blogs to be fair!
I was a serial stalker for a while there. I got very close to securing Corey Feldman and Sean Lennon which would have been good, but alas they didn’t pan out. But those celebs on Twitter be wary in the future, for I will return!!!! haha
Thanks for reading Zoe, I always enjoy your stuff as well 🙂

Ooooh, a little kidlet, that is work my friend! But totally worth it too, I am sure.
Yeah, I think a lot of us utilise work time to keep up with things.
I won’t lie, I am with you on the keeping up. I am so busy with studying at the moment I have fallen scarily far behind
So I do apologise for that, too, in advance, I know I haven’t been around lately, and that counts for everyone’s blogs 😦
Oh wow, those were big ones. BEWARE, Twitter Celebs, Thomas will soon be at your tails again! 🙂
Thanks!

Yeah it’s all good eh. Life should come before anything else anyway I guess. The blogging just becomes like a compulsion or habit after a while, as soon as you stop you start to fret a little bit!
Keep up the good work though Zoe!
